The most common way of compliance is
1- Make sure that the machine is not falling under Annex IV of the machinery Directive. If it does involve a Notified Body . Apply most specific standard or EN 60204 if no machine specific standard is available. Remember to choose the lates version of the spplicable safety standard
2- Make sure that your machine complies with Noise Directive 2002/49/EC
3- Make sure the machine labeling and alarms are as per IEC 61310 series of standard
4- If the machinery also comes in contact with food should also comply with Directive 1935/2004 as well.
5- NOTE - Annex VII of the Machinery Directive demands - Risk Analysis of the machinery, test reports, instruction for use and CE certificates of parts incorporated in the machinery
